We will see if I finish either of them on the trip. Hopefully I will not get Trilobite-ed out on the trip.
New in kitten land: They have learned how to jump and climb. Of course most of this has consisted of climbing my leg/back and the scratch post, but at least they are learning. They are also over their upper respiratory infection and are very rambunctious and full of energy. We have started to let them be in the room with the bigger cats when supervised. Kelty ignores them unless they get to close, then she informs them that they should back off, which they always do. Duma, on the other hand, you can tell is working out a way to kill them and probably trying to figure out which one she should take out first so we are keeping an eye on her or just keeping her out of the room all together. This has prompted us to buy her a Satan costume for Halloween (even though its not much of a costume or stretch for her), with Kelty just getting a jester collar for this year (see picture, its on Duma), which she has already learned how to remove. This is probably why our cats try to kill us on a regular basis.
SVP is also getting closer, and John and I have decided to take a train there this year. I have never ridden a train in the US and it is cheaper than flying, so we will see how it goes!
