3 year plan

John and I have a book that we write all of our goals, plans and hopes in. We had not had it out in a while, so the other day I grabbed it to see how we were doing and what we had been thinking ahead to.

For 2008 we had

• be more lazy on the weekends✓
• pay off credit cards
• practice guitar (John)✓
• finish a paper✓✓
• bike✓
• Grand Canyon✓✓
• Wedding - August?✓

We got most of these things done. I don't know how we thought we could get the credit cards paid off with the Wedding in the same year. John and I both finished papers and each had one published. John biked. We both went the Grand Canyon over the 4th of July and then John went back down last week to do some research in the collections. And we also had the wedding in August.

Things we want to do for 2008-2010

• new job (ReBecca)
• new town (Fruita)
• "new" house
• Dog ✓
• school? (ReBecca)
  

So far we have done at least one of those.I kind of have a new job, but not a steady job. The contracting is only for certain amounts of time. Looks like moving to Fruita and getting a new place will have to wait until the economy gets better. The house we are in is great, I can't complain at all. We are lucky for what we have. We just wanted to be closer to the Museum for John to be able to get to and from work more easily. We have the dog - check. I would like to go back to school someday, but not sure how to go about that here. I guess everything will happen when the time is right. So that is our 3 year plan.
