Favorite Resturants #1: Nepal Resturant, Grand Junction

I have been wanting to do a blog post on some of my favorite resturants for some time. I know the odds are slim that some of my readers have been to these places or will ever go to them, but you never know. I hope you all have the chance some day! And who knows what person randomly googling for a good resturant will find this. So I may have to drop some fun buzz words.

Nepal Resturant....what can I say about this place. IT HAS THE BEST FOOD, EVER!! Seriously, I could eat at this resturant everyday for the rest of my life and never get bored. It is that good! When we first started going here we tried to get something diffrent off the menu every time. The Vindaloo is great! The Curries are great! The Tandoori is great! Everything we tried was great (things I can't even pronounce let alone spell). But we hit the pay dirt when we found this: 

Isn't that a thing of beauty!!!! Behold the Chicken Tikka Masala! PURE AWESOME! Words just can not explain how great this stuff is. 

Yes, yes, I know it is not "traditional" indian food (it was actually developed in the UK, go figure).  But it is still super yummy! Add in some of this:

and then this (which seems to be standard with many of the dishes)

(left to right) Some sort of coconut milk concoction, veggies (potatoes and cauliflower are often in there), and then some sort of spicy red sauce. And of course, Rice. Good rice, not the boring stuff.

I like to take my naan, load it with rice and a nice piece of chicken, then roll it up and scoop up some of the seriously awesome sauce and eat it almost like a taco. This sauce rocks! How much you might ask....

So much that I have been known to lick the bowl (sorry mom, but it is really good!). It is my favorite part of the meal. Finishing off the yummy food. I am always happy afterwords. Such good food.
